Submissions

We ask all of our submitters to send in a release, it just states that we have permission to use your work. Please send in a copy of the filled out release with your submission. You can find our release at http://www.pinupperfectionmagazine.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/11/release.rtf

You may fill out the release digitally and email it back.
Please ensure that you send a completed release and clearly state the name of the model and photographer for each photo you send in.

ATTENTION ARTISTS, MODELS, PHOTOGRAPHER AND WRITERS!
We’re looking for any kind of photos, art, articles, ideas, interviews, hair and make up tips, stories and show reviews that are pin up, vintage, retro and burlesque themed.
Please only send in material and content related to the over all theme of the magazine. We will not accept things that are not related to vintage, burlesque, pin up or the 1940′s and 50′s. Thank you.

You will need to include a filled out release form with submissions.

What we’re looking for:
We’re specifically looking for things that relate to vintage, retro, pin up and the burlesque life style. We are very open and liberal with the definitions of all of the above, so don’t think we are only looking for one kind of look or style.
Those themes encompass a very broad variety of looks and styles and can be represented in various ways. And there is nothing better then a modern pin up with bright hair and tattooes!

What can be submitted:
Any kind of art, photography, news article, fashion article/tips, show/movie/music review, story, interview or interesting thing that relates to the theme of the magazine. Things of any size or length can be submitted, but with photography and artwork the bigger the better. Models of all shapes, sizes,
creeds and colors are more than welcome to send in photos. If you are the model please make sure you have the photographer’s consent and photographers make sure you have the model’s consent before sending in submissions. There will be a release you will need to fill out if your work is
accepted.

* Photography

We are looking for any kind of photos that feature men and/or women
portraying any kind of vintage, pin up, retro or burlesque theme. If you are unsure if the the photo
is what we are looking for, feel free to submit it anyway. Models can be any shape or size, color and creed. We are very open to all kinds of models,
photography and styles!  We are asking no nudity. Implied is ok, but keep the naughty bits and nipples covered.
Photographs should be large in size, small watermarks are ok. Or you can send along the watermark as a separate file and we can watermark the final piece.

* Writing

Submissions should continue on the theme of the magazine. We are looking for fashion, make-up and hair tips to help people achieve the pinup/retro/vintage look. We are also looking for articles on pin-up/burlesque models and heroes such as an “ode to” or mini biography. Interviews with models, photographers and artists are also welcome.
Product and show reviews are also welcome. Have a favorite make-up brand or designer? Tell us about it! Saw a super awesome burlesque or fetish show/event. Let us know! Or if you have an upcoming event tell us about it. Have
a favorite place to shop? Is your city chalk full of retro attractions?

We are always looking for make up/hair or craft how to’s and tutorials as well! Share your beauty advice!

Or anything else you think is interesting and suits the theme.

*Art
Art work should be based on pin-ups and retro style. We are specifically looking for art of pin up, retro, burlesque model or classic cars. But any kind of art suited to us is welcome. Please make sure the art is your own and you hold the copyrights to it.

Compensation:
Right now there the only compensation we can offer is the pride of knowing that you were part of a fantastic new publication and of course the credit that is so well deserved. You will be able to add that you were published to your resume and portfolio. We also offer pdf tearsheet upon request

We get hundreds of submissions daily and try to go through them as quickly as possible. You are able to preview every issue as it goes up for sale and there is a model list in the front of every issue, so just keep checking!
